The bikes we supply are not suitable for road racing, long distance touring or endurance trials. Our bikes are mostly "Hybrid" town-trecking bikes and are ideal for use on the local cycle routes and tracks in the Essex area.
We can supply everything you need to cycle safely & enjoy the unspoilt countryside of North Essex, Dedham vale, historic Colchester Town, Maldon, Harwich and Clacton on sea, either for just the day or for a whole week

ID will be required before equipment is released for hire. All hirers must be over 18 yrs. (ID must be photo ID. passport, photo driving licence, student union card etc) Copies will be taken & held until all hire equipment is returned.

Daily hire= collection/delivery from 8am until 8am. Daily hire is NOT any 24 Hours.
Collection and delivery is by appointment only.
Cycling should be enjoyable, excellent exercise, pollution free and a cheap way to get from A to B.
Please obey these simple rules and always remember that your safety and the safety of other road users and pedestrians are of paramount importance.
- Before each journey, take a few minutes to give your bike the "pre-ride" check
- Obey the traffic laws and regulations.
- Always wear suitable clothing and your helmet.
- Ride your bike at a speed to suit the terrain and weather conditions.
- Always try to anticipate and expect the unexpected!
- Both hands should handlebars and both feet should be on the pedals.
- Always be in total control of your bike.
- Ride with care and courtesy.
- Look after your bike, ensuring it is always locked securely when not in use.
- Do not Jump or stunt our bikes.
- Never carry a passenger.
- Bike brakes are designed to stop a bike in a straight line. If you broadside and skid your bike you will damage the rear wheel and tyre and may damage or even brake the frame.
- Never hang items from the handlebars.
- Never use headphones or mobile phones while using a bike.
- Never carry adult (over 14's) passengers in child trailers.
- Never carry "passengers " in cargo trailers.
Please check all our equipment carefully on the commencement of the hire for damage or faults.
Lights are NOT supplied with batteries.
Insurance is not included in our hire service. We advise you to take out your own insurance policy or check with your home insurers. Insurance should include: Theft, third party, accidental damage, personal injury and liability insurance.
Replacement and support is FREE and offered within the Borough of Colchester only*
Replacement and support * outside the Borough is charged at cost to the hirer.
Late returns will be charged at our standard daily charge.
All equipment is offered subject to availability.
